MMP’s on-line Risk Mitigation (FMEA & Control Plans) course consists of 12 modules (total expected time = 14 hours). This course will teach the student the basics of risk mitigation techniques and how to apply those techniques to their working environment. The technique used in this class, for risk mitigation, is that of creating Flow Charts, FMEA’s, Control Plans and Contingency Plans. This class also includes some of the tools used in the control plan and improving processes such as histograms, check sheets, Ishikawa diagrams, Pareto diagrams, SPC and scatter diagrams.
This course will prepare you to mitigate risks through systematic, proactive methods for evaluating a process. Your will have the skills to identify where and how a process might fail and to assess the relative impact of different failures, in order to identify the parts of the process that are most in need of change.
Time: 7.5 hours lecture time + 2.5 hours testing time + 4 hours hands on exercise = 14 hours
